Paul Yoon is a celebrated American fiction writer with a distinct voice in contemporary literature. Once the Shore, his debut work, was acclaimed as a New York Times Notable Book and hailed as one of the best debuts of the year by National Public Radio. His novel, Snow Hunters, earned the prestigious 2014 Young Lions Fiction Award.
Recognized by the National Book Foundation with the 5 Under 35 Award, Yoon has also been honored with a fellowship from the New York Public Library's Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers. His contributions to the field of literature are nurtured through his role as a Briggs-Copeland Lecturer at Harvard University, where he teaches alongside his wife, fellow fiction writer Laura van den Berg.
