Norman Doidge

Norman Doidge is a renowned psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and researcher. He serves on the faculty at the Columbia University Centre for Psychoanalytic Training and Research in New York and the University of Toronto's Department of Psychiatry. Doidge is also an accomplished author, essayist, and poet. He has been honored with Canada's National Magazine Gold Award four times. A native of Toronto, he is best known for his works "The Brain that Changes Itself" and "The Brain's Way of Healing."
