Nancy Holder

Nancy Holder is an American writer and the author of numerous novels, including many tie-in books based on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She has also penned fiction related to other science fiction and fantasy shows, including Angel and Smallville.

Holder has won the Bram Stoker Award four times for her work in the horror genre. Additionally, she contributed to the design of the video game Dungeon Master, developed and distributed by her husband's company, FTL Games.

Her early life saw her family moving frequently due to her father’s occupation, living in places like California and Japan. At sixteen, she left high school to pursue ballet in Cologne, Germany, and later moved to Frankfurt Am Main. Eventually, she returned to California and graduated summa cum laude from the University of California at San Diego with a degree in Communication.
