Moss Whelan

Moss Whelan, born in 1968 in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a Canadian author known for his book Gray Hawk of Terrapin published on January 12, 2018. He holds an English Literature Bachelor of Arts degree, is a Creative Writing Associate, and possesses a Diploma in Writing for Film, Television, and Interactive Media. Whelan is actively involved in the online Fantasy community and teaches Creative Writing.

His literary work is characterized by a focus on transcendent self-esteem, providing a contrast to worldviews that shape perceived reality. He has been awarded the President’s Award at Douglas College and the M. Sheila O’Connel Undergraduate Prize in Children's Literature at Simon Fraser University.

A survivor of PTSD, Whelan aims to be a voice for continued access to mental health.
