Michio Kaku

Michio Kaku is an American physicist, science communicator, futurologist, and writer of popular-science. He serves as a professor of theoretical physics at the City College of New York and the CUNY Graduate Center.

Kaku is renowned for authoring several books on physics and related subjects. His notable works include Physics of the Impossible (2008), Physics of the Future (2011), The Future of the Mind (2014), and The God Equation: The Quest for a Theory of Everything (2021), all of which became New York Times bestsellers.

He is acclaimed for his efforts to bridge the gap between science and science fiction, for which he received the 2021 Sir Arthur Clarke Lifetime Achievement Award. Kaku frequently appears on radio, television, and film and is a regular contributor to his own blog and other popular media outlets.

He has hosted several television specials for networks including the BBC, Discovery Channel, History Channel, and Science Channel.
