Michelle Moran

Michelle Moran is an internationally bestselling author known for her compelling historical fiction. Born on August 11, 1980, Moran grew up in southern California. She attended Pomona College, later obtaining a Master's Degree from the Claremont Graduate University. Her career prior to becoming a full-time author included six years as a public high school teacher. Moran's summers were spent traveling the world, and her experiences as a volunteer on archaeological digs greatly inspired her writing.

Moran has penned eight historical novels, translated into more than twenty languages. Her works include critically acclaimed titles such as Nefertiti, The Heretic Queen, Cleopatra's Daughter, Madame Tussaud, The Second Empress, Rebel Queen, Mata Hari, and Maria. Moran's fiction transports readers across time and space, bringing to life the stories of some of history's most fascinating figures.
