Michael David O'Brien is a Canadian author, artist, and essayist, as well as a lecturer on faith and culture. Born in Ottawa, he is a self-taught individual without an academic background. Mr. O'Brien writes and speaks on Catholic themes and topics, and he is known for creating the cover art for his novels in a neo-Byzantine style. Currently, he resides with his family in Combermere, Ontario, Canada.

His works have reached a global audience, having been published in multiple foreign languages, including Croatian, Czech, French, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Spanish, and Swedish.
