Melissa de la Cruz

Melissa de la Cruz (born September 7, 1971) is a renowned Filipina-American writer, celebrated for her contributions to young adult fiction. Her noted works span across several series, including Au Pairs, the Blue Bloods, and The Beauchamp Family. Beyond her young adult fiction, de la Cruz has also made her mark with novels for adults such as Cat’s Meow, and the anthology Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys. In addition, her repertoire includes the tongue-in-chic handbooks How to Become Famous in Two Weeks or Less and The Fashionista Files: Adventures in Four-inch heels and Faux-Pas.
