Melanie Dickerson is the New York Times bestselling author known for her happily-ever-after romance novels. She believes in love, laughter, afternoon tea, and the power of story. Melanie grew up in rural South Alabama and began dreaming of a career as a novelist at a young age, writing stories for her friends from the age of twelve and completing her first full-length romance novel at fourteen. Despite the challenges of getting published, she pursued a degree in special education for the hearing impaired from the University of Alabama. She taught in Georgia’s public schools and spent a year as a missionary in Ukraine before rediscovering her passion for writing.

She now has twenty-eight published novels and lives in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachians near Huntsville, Alabama. When she’s not writing, Melanie enjoys watching While You Were Sleeping for the hundredth time, spending time with her handsome husband, and her slightly unhinged Jack Russell terrier.
