MaryJanice Davidson is an American author known for her work in the genres of paranormal romance, fantasy, horror, erotica, and romance. She is celebrated as the creator of the popular Undead series and has been recognized as both a New York Times and USA Today bestseller.

Davidson's upbringing was unique, as she grew up on various military bases, moving frequently, due to her father's career as a United States Air Force airman. She now resides in Minnesota with her husband and two children.

In addition to her novels, Davidson has a talent for motivational speaking and writes a bi-weekly column for USA Today. She has also been acknowledged for her humor and storytelling abilities, which have been key to her success in transitioning from small presses to major bestseller lists.

She was awarded the 2004 Romantic Times Reviewers’ Choice Award and received a nomination for the same in 2005. Davidson is also the mother of fantasy author C.M. Alongi.
