Mary Hoffman

Mary Hoffman is a British writer and critic, born in 1945. She has written over 90 books, with audiences ranging from children to adults. One of her best-known works is the children's book Amazing Grace, which became a New York Times best-seller, selling 1.5 million copies, and was a finalist for the 1991 Kate Greenaway Medal. From 2002 to 2012, she authored the teen fiction series Stravaganza.

Mary Hoffman is also an editor for the children's review magazine Armadillo. She is a true enthusiast of Italy, which is reflected in her Stravaganza novels. Her recent works include David, for which a book trailer is available.
