Martha Hall Kelly is an acclaimed author whose debut novel, Lilac Girls, became an instant New York Times bestseller in 2016, selling over two million copies. The book tells the story of socialite Caroline Ferriday and her efforts to help concentration camp survivors. Following the success of Lilac Girls, which remained on the NYT paperback list for 54 weeks and was published in fifty countries, Martha wrote three more novels: Lost Roses, about Caroline's mother; Sunflower Sisters, about her great-grandmother; and The Golden Doves, about two best friends united in finding a missing Nazi doctor.
