Madeleine Roux is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author known for her work in the young adult paranormal and horror fiction genres. She was born in Minnesota, U.S., and has gained acclaim for her Asylum series, which has sold over a million copies worldwide.
In addition to the Asylum series, Roux is the author of the House of Furies series, and various standalone adult science fiction novels, including Salvaged and Reclaimed. Her writing extends into licensed properties, having contributed to popular franchises such as Star Wars, World of Warcraft, and Dungeons & Dragons.
Roux received her BA in Creative Writing and Acting from Beloit College in 2008, where she also completed an Honors Term, writing and presenting a full-length historical fiction novel. Shortly after, she created the experimental fiction blog Allison Hewitt Is Trapped, which gained a wide following.
Currently, Roux lives and works in Seattle, Washington, with her partner and beloved pups.
