Lisa Rogak is an American author, primarily renowned for her biographies and other non-fiction works. Aside from being an author, she is also a freelance magazine writer. Her edited work, Barack Obama: In His Own Words, made it to the New York Times bestseller list. Meanwhile, her biography of Stephen King, titled Haunted Heart, was nominated for the 2010 Edgar Award for Best Critical/Biographical Work.
Lisa grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey, and currently resides in New Hampshire. She has authored more than 40 books, published in over two dozen languages. Her works are notable for hitting the New York Times bestseller lists, including titles like Angry Optimist: The Life & Times of Jon Stewart.
