Lisa Jewell

Lisa Jewell is a British author of popular fiction, born on 19 July 1968. Jewell's body of work includes a number of well-received novels such as Ralph's Party, Thirtynothing, After The Party (a sequel to Ralph's Party), Then She Was Gone, The Family Upstairs, Invisible Girl, and The Night She Disappeared. Her latest book, None of This Is True, was published in July 2023.

Her first novel, Ralph's Party, was the best-selling debut novel of 1999. Since then, she has written another twenty novels, many of which are dark psychological thrillers, including The Girls, Then She Was Gone, The Family Upstairs, and The Night She Disappeared. Jewell is a New York Times and Sunday Times number one bestselling author and her works have been published worldwide in over twenty-five languages.

Lisa Jewell resides in north London with her husband, two teenage daughters, and their dog.
