Linda Medley

Linda Medley is an American comic book author and illustrator, renowned for her Castle Waiting series of comic books and graphic novels. Born on May 17, 1964, in Stockton, California, she has been a freelance illustrator since 1985. Linda Medley has illustrated children's books for prominent publishers such as Putnam, Grosset & Dunlap, Houghton-Mifflin, and Western Publishing.

In addition to her work in children's literature, Medley has made significant contributions to the comics industry as a penciller, inker, painter, colorist, and sculptor. Her pencilling work includes contributions to popular series such as Justice League and Doom Patrol for DC Comics, as well as Galactic Girl Guides for Tundra. Her paintings have graced the covers of several notable publications, including Paradox Press's Family Man, Stuck Rubber Baby, and TSR's Dragon magazine.

Raised in what is often referred to as "Steinbeck Country," Linda Medley currently resides in Portland, Oregon, and continues to work on new projects in the Castle Waiting series.
