Lily King is an American novelist who grew up in Massachusetts. She received her B.A. in English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her M.A. in Creative Writing from Syracuse University. She has taught English and Creative Writing at several universities and high schools both in the United States and abroad.
Lily's novel, Euphoria, released in June 2014, has garnered significant acclaim. It was named an Amazon Book of the Month, featured on the Indie Next List, and appeared on numerous summer reading lists, including those of The Boston Globe, O Magazine, and USA Today. The book was reviewed on the cover of The New York Times Book Review, where Emily Eakin described Euphoria as "a taut, witty, fiercely intelligent tale of competing egos and desires in a landscape of exotic menace."
