Liane Moriarty is an Australian author, born on 15 November 1966. She has written ten novels, including the New York Times best sellers Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers, and Apples Never Fall, which were adapted into television series for HBO, Hulu, and Peacock respectively. Additional works such as The Husband's Secret and The Last Anniversary are to be developed as films.

Other notable novels include Truly Madly Guilty, What Alice Forgot, The Hypnotist’s Love Story, and Three Wishes. Liane Moriarty lives in Sydney, Australia, with her husband and two children.
