Lene Kaaberbøl is a renowned Danish writer, born on March 24, 1960, in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her literary work primarily focuses on children's fantasy series and crime fiction for adults.
Kaaberbøl has achieved significant recognition for her contributions to literature. In 2004, she received the prestigious Nordic Children's Book Prize. Furthermore, in 2009, Lene Kaaberbøl, along with her co-author Agnete Friis, was honored with the Harald Mogensen Prize by the Danish Criminal Academy for their novel The Boy in the Suitcase.
