Leigh Podgorski is a renowned playwright whose stage plays have been produced in Los Angeles, New York City, and regionally across the United States. She had the unique opportunity to interview Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross for her acclaimed one-act play Windstorm, presented as part of the annual festival CelebrateWomen, which Leigh also co-produced.

Her play, We Are Still Here, tells the compelling story of Cahuilla Indian elder Katherine Siva Saubel and debuted at the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum during CelebrateWomen 2000. This play has been showcased throughout Southern California at various college campuses, universities, and Indian Reservations and Casinos.

In addition to her plays, Leigh has written several original, award-winning screenplays. Her monologues have been published through Meriwether Publishing.
