Kiera Cass is an American writer of young adult fiction, best known for The Selection series.

She was born on May 19, 1981. Kiera is a graduate of Radford University with a B.S. in History. She grew up in South Carolina and currently resides in the LA area with her family, which includes a Seminary Student Hubby, a Video Game Wizard Son, an Experimental Artist Daughter, a Sun-Loving Dog, and a Family Assistant Turned Friend/Roommate. Kiera enjoys boybands, gluten-free cake, and her collection of tiaras. In her free time, she likes making her readers cry, which she finds fun.
