Katrin Schumann is a Washington Post and Amazon Charts Bestselling author known for "The Forgotten Hours." Her latest novel, This Terrible Beauty, was released on March 1, 2020. She studied languages at Oxford and journalism at Stanford. Schumann has authored several nonfiction books and has been awarded fiction residencies from prestigious institutions such as the Norman Mailer Writer’s Colony, The Vermont Studio Center, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She is currently the Program Coordinator of the Key West Literary Seminar and teaches writing at GrubStreet. Schumann was also an instructor in PEN's Prison Writing program.
