Katharine Kerr is an American science fiction and fantasy novelist. She is best known for her series of Celtic-influenced high fantasy novels set in the fictional land of Deverry. Born in Ohio, 1944, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1962 and has lived there ever since.
