Kat Richardson (born Mary-Patricia Kathleen on May 22, 1964) is a bestselling American author renowned for her Greywalker urban fantasy series.

Formerly involved in theater as a singer and dancer, she has also worked as a gemology and jewelry course-writer, editor, and lived on a boat. Currently, she resides in the wilds of far-western Washington with her husband and dogs.
