Karl Moline is a distinguished comic book artist renowned for his collaboration with Joss Whedon as the co-creator of Fray. Moline's artistic skills shone through in his work on Fray, as well as the Fray-centric narrative in Tales of the Slayers. In 2001, his career took a significant turn as he secured an exclusive contract with CrossGen, during which time he pencilled the horror series Route 666.
After CrossGen's demise, Moline made a comeback to the mainstream comic scene by providing the artwork for a 2004 run of Marvel's Rogue. He further extended his repertoire through a collaboration with writer C. B. Cebulski on Marvel's limited series The Loners. In 2008, he reconnected with Dark Horse and the Buffyverse to pencil the Fray storyline in Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight issues #16-19, which was aptly titled "Time of Your Life".
