Karen Miller is an Australian writer. She is best known for The Innocent Mage, the first book in her duology Kingmaker, Kingbreaker.

Born in Vancouver, Canada, she moved to Australia with her parents when she was about two years old. She holds three passports due to her Canadian birth, Australian upbringing, and English descent. Though primarily residing in Sydney, Australia, she also lived in England for three years after graduating with a BA in Communications.
