Karen M. McManus is a #1 New York Times and international bestselling author of young adult fiction. She is best known for her debut novel, One of Us Is Lying, which remained on The New York Times Best Seller list for over five years. The book's popularity led to its adaptation into a television series by NBC, premiering on Peacock in October 2021.

Her celebrated works include the One of Us Is Lying series, and standalone novels such as Two Can Keep a Secret, The Cousins, You’ll Be the Death of Me, Nothing More to Tell, and Such Charming Liars. Karen's award-winning books have been translated into forty-two languages.

Karen pursued a degree in English from the College of the Holy Cross and later obtained a master's degree in journalism from Northeastern University. She currently resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
