She holds a Master's degree in political science and a Bachelor's in philosophy from the University of Georgia. Before becoming a successful author, she worked as a head campaign worker for a presidential campaign and also served as the coach of the Duke University dance team.

Linde enjoys reading fantasy novels, traveling to distant locations, and dancing during her leisure time. She currently resides in Lubbock, Texas, with her husband, son, and a charming puppy.
