Justin Drew Bieber is a Canadian singer and songwriter, born on March 1, 1994. He has been regarded as a pop icon and is recognized for his multi-genre musical performances. Bieber was discovered by record executive Scooter Braun in 2008 and was subsequently brought to the United States by singer Usher. Together, they formed the record label RBMG Records to sign Bieber in October of that year.

His debut extended play (EP), My World (2009), received international recognition and established him as a teen idol.
