Juliet Escoria

Juliet Escoria is an accomplished American writer and artist, known for her impactful contributions to the literary fiction genre. Escoria was born in Australia and raised in San Diego. She currently resides in West Virginia with her husband, Scott McClanahan, who is also a writer and martial artist.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of California in Riverside and a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from Brooklyn College. As an educator, she has been imparting knowledge at a community college in West Virginia.

Escoria has published a collection of stories with accompanying videos titled Black Cloud in 2014, which garnered positive reviews from various publications including Flavorwire and Volume 1 Brooklyn. It also featured on the best books of 2014 lists in The Fader, Salon, and Flavorwire. Additionally, she is the author of the novel Juliet the Maniac and the poetry collection Witch Hunt.
