Josh Mensch is a New York Times bestselling author and television producer with a focus on American history and culture. He is the coauthor with Brad Meltzer of the nonfiction history bestseller The First Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill George Washington, and the forthcoming The Lincoln Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill America's 16th President—and Why it Failed.

For television, Josh has been a showrunner, writer, and director on award-winning series for the History Channel, PBS, National Geographic, Discovery, and other networks.

Josh is a graduate of Princeton University and the Columbia Journalism School, and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two children.
