Jonathan Tropper

Jonathan Tropper (born February 19, 1970) is an accomplished American screenwriter, novelist, and producer. Tropper has penned six novels and has made significant contributions to television. He is notably the co-creator and executive producer of the Cinemax television series Banshee (2013–2016) and the creator of the series Warrior (2019–present).

His literary career is marked by several acclaimed novels, including Everything Changes, The Book of Joe (a Booksense selection), and Plan B. Tropper's novel, How To Talk To A Widower, was optioned by Paramount Pictures, and both Everything Changes and The Book of Joe are currently in development as feature films. He resides in Westchester, New York, with his wife, Elizabeth, and their children, where he teaches writing at Manhattanville College.
