Joe Hill

Joe Hill is the pen name of the American author Joseph Hillstrom King, born in 1972. He is the son of the renowned author Stephen King. Joe Hill's debut novel, Heart-Shaped Box, won the Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel. His subsequent novels, such as Horns—which was adapted into a film starring Daniel Radcliffe—and NOS4A2, have further established his reputation as a master of horror and suspense. His book The Fireman was a #1 New York Times Best-Seller and won the 2016 Goodreads Choice Award for Best Horror Novel.

In addition to novels, Joe Hill has written numerous short stories, some of which are collected in the award-winning 20th Century Ghosts. He is also known for his long-running comic book series, Locke & Key, co-created with illustrator Gabriel Rodriguez, which earned him the Eisner Award for Best Writer. Hill resides in New Hampshire with his corgi, McMurtry, named after a beloved writer of cowboy tales.
