Jim West, an award-winning YA fiction author, was born in Killeen, Texas in 1977 and spent much of his youth in central Louisiana. For over 18 years, he has worked in the field of Cyber Security and developed the concept for his acclaimed Magicae Mathematica series about a decade ago. His first book in the series, Libellus de Numeros, is crafted with the hope of resonating deeply with its young audience.

A devoted father, Jim has two smart and beautiful daughters, whom he cherishes deeply. When not occupied with his work, often referred to as "saving the world," he resides in Germany with his family. His passion for storytelling and his professional expertise combine to create unique and engaging narratives for young readers.
