Jessica Kathryn Burton, known as Jessie Burton, is an acclaimed English author born on August 17, 1982. She has published four novels: The Miniaturist, The Muse, The Confession, and The House of Fortune. Additionally, she has written two children's books: The Restless Girls and Medusa. All her adult novels have been Sunday Times best-sellers, with The Miniaturist, The Muse, and The House of Fortune reaching number 1. Both The Miniaturist and The Muse were also New York Times best-sellers and featured on Radio 4's Books at Bedtime. Her work has been translated into almost 40 languages. Burton is also known for her short stories, which have been published in Harpers Bazaar US and Stylist.
