Jennifer Mathieu is a critically acclaimed American author known for her work in young adult fiction. Her 2017 novel, Moxie, was adapted into a film of the same name, directed by Amy Poehler and available on Netflix. Originally hailing from the East Coast of the United States, Jennifer now resides in Texas with her family.

Before becoming a novelist, Jennifer worked as a journalist and has been an English teacher for over twenty years.
