Some of her notable works include Alex, Approximately, Starry Eyes, and The Anatomical Shape of a Heart (also known as Night Owls). Her books have received critical acclaim and have been recognized with several awards.

In addition to her writing career, Jenn Bennett is also an artist and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. She was born in Germany and has lived throughout the United States. Bennett has also traveled extensively across Europe, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
