Jen Calonita is a New York Times and USA Today-bestselling author of more than thirty books for teens and middle grade readers. Her works have sold over a million copies and have been translated into 15 languages.

A graduate of Boston College, Jen began her career as an entertainment journalist at Teen People magazine, where she interviewed celebrities like Dwayne Johnson and Reese Witherspoon. This experience inspired her first book, Secrets of My Hollywood Life, which won the Louisiana Young Readers Award. The series expanded to six books.

Jen has authored several series, including the popular Fairy Tale Reform School and the A Twisted Tale series by Disney, which became a New York Times bestseller. Notably, A Twisted Tale's Mirror Mirror won the 2020 Teen Choice Book Awards, an award chosen by children and teens.

Her writing has also appeared in well-known publications such as Glamour, Marie Claire, Self, TV Guide, and Entertainment Weekly.

Jen resides in New York with her husband, two sons, and a spirited chihuahua named Ben Kenobi. Outside of writing, she enjoys traveling and dreams of visiting Disney Parks.
