Jeffrey Marshall is a writer, poet, and retired journalist based in Scottsdale, AZ. He is the author of five books, including the novels Undetected, Little Miss Sure Shot, and Squeeze Plays (June 2022). Undetected was named a Notable 100 indie book for 2020 by Shelf Unbound.

During his 35-year journalism career in the New York area, he served as a reporter, editor, feature writer, columnist, and book reviewer. He concluded his career as the editor-in-chief of two national business magazines and has freelanced for more than two dozen publications, including The New York Times.

Marshall has freelanced recently for fishing and environmental publications and has published flash fiction in online magazines such as Brightflash Literary Review.
