Jana Oliver

Jana G. Oliver is an American author whose stories span a variety of genres, including romance, urban fantasy, science fiction, mystery, and historical mystery. Originally from Iowa, she now resides in Portugal. Her Time Rovers Series was published by Dragon Moon Press, a Canadian speculative fiction publisher, and was nominated for fifteen awards, winning twelve, including ForeWord Magazine's Editor's Choice Book of the Year, marking the first time a science fiction novel received that honor.

In 2009, Oliver was signed by St. Martin's Press to write the Demon Trappers Series, a young adult urban fantasy series. Initially composed of four books, the series was translated into German, French, Brazilian, Russian, Turkish, Danish, and Mandarin, with five additional books added since 2012. Under the pseudonym Chandler Steele, she also authored a romantic suspense/thriller series, the Veritas Series.

Jana Oliver is an international and Amazon bestselling author. Her achievements include the Prism Award, the Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery and Suspense, and the National Readers' Choice Award. Her works include The Demon Trappers Series and Briar Rose (Young Adult), time travel/historical mystery (The Time Rovers Series), and paranormal romance (Tangled Souls). She co-authored Socially Engaged: The Author's Guide to Social Media with Tyra Burton. She enjoys researching urban legends, studying old maps, and expanding her collection of port and Portuguese wines.
