Jamie Buckingham was a prominent author and influential religious leader. He founded the Tabernacle Church in Melbourne, Florida, and contributed extensively to Christian literature. Buckingham was notably a co-author of Run, Baby, Run with Nicky Cruz, Shout it From the Housetops with Pat Robertson, and Ben Israel with Arthur Katz. Over his career, he wrote a total of 34 books, reaching a wide audience with his writings.

In addition to his work as an author, he served as the editor for Charisma Magazine until his death in 1992.
