In 1997, Lorraine Heath, writing as Jade Parker, was honored with the Romance Writers of America RITA Award for Best Short Historical Romance for her novel Always to Remember. Her work has been recognized on the USA Today bestseller list multiple times.

Born to a British mother, who was a beauty contest runner-up and once kissed by Caesar Romero, and a Texan father stationed in England, Jade Parker has a love for all things British and Texan, which she skillfully weaves into her stories. She holds a BA in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
