Chief Joseph Modupe Johnson CFR, was a notable Nigerian politician and Federal Cabinet Minister. He served as the Federal Minister for Labour, Welfare, & Sports from 1959 to 1964. Before that, he held the position of Federal Minister of the Interior from 1957 to 1959. Johnson played a significant role in the Nigerian federal government during his terms in office.
