J.J. Connolly

J.J. Connolly is an English novelist, best known for his engaging crime fiction. Born in London in 1964, Connolly has made significant contributions to the genre, particularly with his novel Layer Cake, published in 2000. This novel, which captures the gritty underworld of 1990s London, was later adapted into a successful film released in 2004, for which Connolly himself wrote the screenplay.

Following the success of Layer Cake, Connolly continued the story with a compelling sequel titled Viva La Madness. His works are celebrated for their sharp dialogue, intricate plots, and a vivid portrayal of the criminal landscape.
