Isuna Hasekura (支倉凍砂, Hasekura Isuna) is a renowned Japanese novelist. Born on December 27, 1982, he gained fame for his debut novel Spice and Wolf, which won the Silver Prize in the twelfth Dengeki Novel Prize in 2005. Following this success, he published the first volume of the manga adaptation the following year.
