Ilsa J. Bick

Ilsa J. Bick is an American author known for her work in short stories, e-books, and novels. She has made significant contributions to several long-running science fiction series, most notably Star Trek, Battletech, and Mechwarrior: Dark Age. Her talents have earned her both Grand and Second Prize in the Strange New Worlds anthology series (1999 and 2001, respectively). Additionally, her story "The Quality of Wetness" took Second Prize in the prestigious Writers of the Future contest in 2000. Her first Star Trek novel, Well of Souls, was a 2003 Barnes & Noble bestseller.

In addition to her writing career, Ilsa J. Bick is a multifaceted individual with a background in child psychiatry, film scholarship, and surgery, where she completed an internship. She has served as a major in the Air Force, showcasing her diverse skills and accomplishments.
