Herbie Brennan

James Herbert Brennan, known as Herbie Brennan, was a prolific Irish author born on July 5, 1940, and passed away on January 1, 2024. He authored over 100 fiction and non-fiction books for adults, teens, and children, including several role-playing games. His works have been published in numerous languages and have sold over 10 million copies worldwide.

Brennan had a deep interest in esoteric matters, psychical research, and anomalies, which often influenced his writing. He also had a fondness for Mac computers, other people, and cats. One of his favorite books was "The Crimson Petal and the White" by Michel Faber.

One of his favorite places to visit was Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland. In 2019, he celebrated the publication of his 116th book, "Nectanebo. Traveller From An Antique Land."
