Henry Hoke is an American author and editor known for his diverse body of work. He is the editor at The Offing and the author of five books, most recently the novel Open Throat (MCDxFSG / Picador), and the memoir Sticker (Bloomsbury). His novel Open Throat was a finalist for prestigious awards such as the PEN/Faulkner Award, the Barnes & Noble Discover Prize, and the James Tait Black Prize for Fiction. His writings have appeared in various publications including Fence, Triangle House, Electric Literature, No Tokens, and the flash noir anthology Tiny Crimes. He is also noted for co-creating the performance series Enter>text in Los Angeles. Henry is represented by Jim Rutman at Sterling Lord.
