Harlan Coben

Harlan Coben is an American writer of mystery novels and thrillers. Born on January 4, 1962, Coben is known for his ingenious plots that often involve the resurfacing of unresolved or misinterpreted events from the past, including murders or fatal accidents, and are filled with multiple twists.

Coben has achieved significant acclaim, being the first author to win an Edgar Award, a Shamus Award, and an Anthony Award. His works have been translated into 46 languages and have sold over 90 million copies worldwide. Furthermore, twelve of his novels have been adapted for film and television, with several being developed into Netflix Original Drama series, including The Stranger, The Innocent, Gone for Good, and The Woods. His latest adaptation for Netflix, Stay Close, premiered on December 31, 2021, starring Cush Jumbo, James Nesbitt, and Richard Armitage.
