Gordon R. Dickson

Gordon Rupert Dickson was a notable American science fiction writer. Born in Canada, he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a teenager and spent much of his life in the United States. Dickson was renowned for his contributions to the science fiction genre, particularly for his Childe Cycle and the Dragon Knight series. Over the course of his career, he earned considerable recognition, including three Hugo Awards and one Nebula Award. In 2000, he was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame.
